EVGENIY SVETLITSA

Evgeniy Svetlitsa goes on Russian Grand Ballet North American Tour in 2015 as a principal dancer of the Prince Siegfried role with partner Olga Kifyak.

Upon graduating the Russian Ballet Academy in Saint Peterburg in 1998 he was invited to join historic Mikhailovsky Theatre, where just a hundred years ago Johann Strauss would often perform as a lead conductor. Evgeniy Svetlitsa performed classical repertoire as a soloist of the Theatre until 2005, when he got invited to become a principal dancer of the Russian Grand Ballet Theatre.

Since 2006 – Evgeniy is in the cast of the «Stars of the World Ballet» project, directed by Constantine Pinchuk.

Evgeniy Svetlitsa is a diplomante of a prestigious International Ballet Contest of Perm and the laureate of the V.Pisarev award.

His repertoire includes lead roles in ballet’s most coveted performances: Don Quixote, La Bayadere, Giselle, Swan Lake, Le Corsaire, Nutcracker, Carmen, Spartacus, Romeo and Juliette, Paquita, Chopiniana, Lileya, Cinderella, Coppelia.

Evgeniy Svetlitsa has toured extensively including to Italy, Spain, Germany, France, China, Switzerland, Russia, Holland, Norway, Sweden, Dennmark, Lebanon.
