Akari has received her initial choreographic education at the School of Ballet Art of Terada in Kyoto (Japan). She then graduated from the legendary Kiev Ballet Shool (1995), class of A Petrenchuk. Immediately after graduation, Akari was invited to the Kiev Classical Ballet Theater as a soloist. During her first years at the theatre she performed principal roles in Giselle and the Nutcracker, which was produced by the People’s Artist of the USSR Valeriy Kovtun and a famous teacher, Agrippina Vaganova’s student at the time, People’s Artist of Ukraine Tatiana Ahekyan.
Since 1998 Akari has been the leading soloist of the Kiev Municipal Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre for Children and Youth.
Since 2010 – Russian Grand Ballet is priviledged to have Akari joined their team as a guest soloist.
Akari has extensive concert repertoire of classical and modern ballet productions.
She is constantly collaborating with the School of Ballet Art Terada in Kyoto as a dancer and a teacher. Her touring geography is very broad: Germany, Spain, Italy, France, Switzerland, Portugal, United Kingdom, Canada, Romania and many more.
